We’re looking for an Email Designer & Strategist who knows how to make an inbox irresistible. If you thrive on creating visually engaging, high-performing emails that get clicks (and conversions), this role is for you. Your expertise in email design, user experience, and campaign strategy will help brands connect with their audiences in a way that feels personal, compelling, and on-brand.
You’ll own the design and execution of email campaigns, from layout and visuals to segmentation and optimization. Staying ahead of design trends, deliverability best practices, and performance analytics will be second nature to you. Your goal? To craft stunning, strategic email content that drives engagement, nurtures leads, and converts subscribers into loyal customers.
Work Responsibilities
Email Design & Development
Conceptualize and design compelling email templates that align with brand guidelines and campaign goals.
Develop mobile-responsive, visually engaging email layouts using HTML/CSS or email design platforms.
Optimize email templates for deliverability, accessibility, and readability across devices and email clients.
Implement interactive design elements (GIFs, animations, dynamic content) to enhance engagement.
Ensure all emails are optimized for conversion with strong CTA placement, A/B testing, and UX best practices.
Email Strategy & Execution
Collaborate with marketing and content teams to develop email strategies that align with business objectives.
Segment audiences effectively to personalize content and increase engagement.
Create automated email workflows, including welcome sequences, abandoned cart emails, promotional campaigns, and re-engagement series.
Analyze performance metrics (open rates, CTRs, conversions) and optimize campaigns based on insights.
Stay up to date on email marketing trends, tools, and deliverability best practices.
Graphic & Content Collaboration
Design graphics and supporting visuals for email campaigns, ensuring brand consistency across channels.
Work closely with copywriters to create emails that balance strong messaging with stunning visuals.
Coordinate with developers or email service providers (ESPs) to troubleshoot rendering issues and ensure smooth deployment.
Develop guidelines and best practices for email design to maintain consistency across all campaigns.
Performance & Optimization
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess campaign success.
Conduct A/B tests on subject lines, design elements, and CTA placement to improve results.
Implement data-driven improvements to continuously enhance email engagement and conversion rates.
Ensure compliance with email regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and maintain best practices for list hygiene.

Minimum Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in email design, email marketing, or digital marketing with a strong design background.
Proven experience designing and executing successful email campaigns that drive measurable results.
A portfolio showcasing email designs, templates, and campaign strategy.
Experience with major ESPs such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar.
Software & Technical Skills
Proficiency in email design platforms and ESPs (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, etc.).
Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or Figma for email design.
Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email development.
Familiarity with email deliverability best practices, segmentation strategies, and automation workflows.
Experience with A/B testing tools and email performance analytics.
